... and they never stop to amaze me!

Whether it is measuring in Mathematics, reading with expression or writing true stories, I am amazed and surprised by how much these little people can do, understand and create.  Art, inspired by Laurel Burch, once again made me aware of this fact. Students sketched and painted the most beautiful cats after learning more about the work of Laurel Burch.

We have also had another opportunity this week to spend time in the kitchen – this time making yummy lollies by using oreos and candy canes, getting us into the spirit of the holiday season ahead. Thank you to Belinda (James' mom) and Debra (Cooper’s mom), for helping us make these delicious treats!

Learning about SHAPES in mathematics

We always enjoy a read aloud, and enjoy listening to a new story. We were so excited on Thursday afternoon when we realised that we have a Mystery Reader to entertain us. Thank you to Craig (Ethan White’s dad) for taking the time to read to us.
